I Graduated from University of Bolton in 2004, with an honours Degree in Automobile Engineering. Following which I began work in the automotive Industry in Northern Ireland, within a Large Auto retail Franchise Group, Covering all areas of their Aftersales Business.
Including but not limited to , Workshop Control / workshop Supervisor, Warranty Clerk, Group ISO 9001 Quality Manager and Volkswagen. Service/Aftersales Manager. This also included managing a large fleet workshop with responsibility for various contracts including, large commercial vehicle fleet operators, local authorities such as police service vehicles, Ambulance Service vehicles and Utility Providers such as Northern Ireland Electricity and Northern Ireland Water service. This included managing the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles, from a small motor car to a 28 Tonne Truck. Following this Position I began work with Kane’s Assess Ireland in April 2015,
As well as my Experience within the retail motor industry, I also have extensive mechanical experience gained in the private vehicle repair sector and coming from both a construction and Agricultural background I am familiar with the Maintenance, operation and Engineering of most common types of construction and Agri equipment .
As well as my Degree Qualification, I have also undertaken and passed my Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors Exams and currently hold the Grade of Affiliate Member, in addition I have just completed a two year, level 4 City and Guilds qualification, in Advanced Vehicle Electrical and Electronic Diagnostics.
Modern Vehicle Technology is advancing at a rapid rate and I feel it is important to keep up to date with the latest systems.
In my own time, I enjoy classic vehicle restoration, Home D.I.Y and Various outdoor adventure activities such as Kayaking, Cycling, Hiking,
