Cyril T. Jacob Motor Assessors Ltd. began operations in 1994 with Cyril Jacob operating as an Independent Engineer providing professional Automotive Engineering Services to both the public and private sectors.
With the growth of the business a new venture was undertaken in 1999. Maintaining independent status, the business was incorporated with Motor Assess Ireland and has continued to grow and develop.
Our offices are strategically placed in Kilkenny City and we are ideally located to provide professional automotive engineering assessments within the greater South East and Midland counties. These areas i.e. Laois, Carlow, Wexford, Waterford, South and East Wicklow, North Tipperary and of course Kilkenny have been serviced since operations commenced in 1994.
Our team of qualified and experienced engineers is on hand to provide you with a professional service of the highest quality on all of our services – these include all types of automotive vehicles for the private, commercial and agricultural sectors. We provide these services to Insurance Companies, Brokers, Legal Consultants Logistic / Hire Drive Companies and Private Clients.
Over the years our experiences and services have widened allowing us to offer advice on a variety of matters including provision of quick and efficient reports to all of our clients.
In 2014 we started out in Engineering Inspection – providing a statutory inspection service to our existing automotive base and the wider SME market. Combining our existing motor based experience with upskilling of our engineers in specific areas we were able to seamlessly add an additional service for our customers.
Our state of the art engineering reporting system allows us to complete inspection reports on site, giving customers instant access to their statutory reports.
