Assess Ireland provides In Service Thorough Examinations of plant and machinery, allowing customers to comply with their Statutory requirements.

We are proud to be accredited by the Irish National Accreditation Board (INAB) to undertake inspections in compliance with the ISO/IEC 17020:2012. Click here to view our Schedule of Accreditation.

We inspect all of your work equipment as required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations of 2007 and 2012 to ensure that your assets comply with the relevant legislation.

Our inspections include:

Lifting and mechanical plant

All types of cranes, lifts, forklift trucks, ‘yellow plant’, garage equipment, chains, wire ropes, slings and other lifting tackle.

Pressure plant

Steam boilers and all associated plant, air receivers, LPG plant and all vessels and systems requiring thorough examination under the 2012 Regulations.

Electrical plant

Fixed installations, individual items.

Work equipment

All types of work equipment e.g. escalators, pallet trucks, quick hitches, bin lifters etc. as listed for inspection under Regulation 30 or otherwise.

We work very closely with the Broker market, helping them to increase awareness of Health and Safety and Regulatory requirements amongst their customer base.

Our state of the art technology allows us to complete immediate on-site reports and send real-time communications to the client/broker confirming which site was attended, what job was completed and a full list of inspected items. Whether you only require a single item for inspection, or need us to provide a complete management of your inspection requirements our technology will ensure that that your assets/inventory’s are in order and your legal obligations are fully met. We will even send you a reminder when your next inspection is due.

All of our inspections and procedures are carried out in compliance with ISO17020 and as members of SAFed (The Safety Assessment Federation), we are at the centre of the independent inspection industry and conform to all relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice.

The knowledge and experience developed over the years combined with the use of the most up to date technology ensures we can provide all clients, from small and medium enterprises to the largest of multinationals and semi-states with a first class service. Our service levels are second to none and our pricing is particularly competitive. Being an independent company we do not charge the 5% insurance levy and we issue a VAT invoice to all customers, allowing them to recover the VAT.
