Liam graduated from Cork Institute of Technology in 2000 with a NCEA Cert and Diploma in Automobile Technology and Transport Management. He then furthered his studies in the UK and in 2002 he graduated from Bolton University with an Honours Degree in Automobile Engineering.
Liam worked in the automotive industry in both the UK and USA before returning to Ireland in 2005. He gained great practical experience and technical knowledge from having worked for two of Cork’s leading Collison Repair Centres.
In 2007 Liam joined Harrington Assess Ireland as an Automotive Engineers Assessor where he continued to work until Buckley Deasy Assess Ireland took over that company in May 2016.
Over the last ten years he has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of Motor Assessing. He specialises in Accident Investigation and low velocity minimum impact collisions. Agricultural machinery and Vintage Vehicles are another two areas where Liam has great knowledge and expertise.
During his down time he is heavily involved with the West Cork Soccer League with his local team Drinagh Rangers. He also has a keen interest in Classic and Vintage Cars.
